Visit Rumsey's Chocolateries

Experience for yourself the delicious smell of hot chocolate and freshly ground coffee at either of Rumsey's two chocolateries. Close your eyes and you could almost be in Paris! Each shop is inspired by the film 'Chocolat' and offers a wonderful range of cakes, pastries, handmade chocolates and ice cream, to eat in or takeaway.

We are dedicated to producing foods of the highest quality that are fresh, home-made and use locally sourced ingredients. The menu includes pastries, chocolates, cakes and a fantastic range of ice creams made to Nigel Rumsey's own secret recipe. 

Each chocolaterie has a theatre where you can often see the hand-made chocolates being produced in front of your eyes –  while you sip from a mug of the special House Hot Chocolate and savour the offering of pure dark chocolate that accompanies every hot drink.
